i found this article by chance.
i found it interesting.
it shows how the country at large is now wondering wether to say what they think or be quiet like good little english people.
i maintain the fact that i am not racist.
i do hold the belief though that people who are from other countries, be they black white green yellow or blue, should be repatriated to their respective countries.
there was also something important in what barack obama said in his speech.
he said something like,,
"i am not afraid to be an american in my own country"
and i aggree with him.
i will be british in my own country, and if i offend anyone from a minority group who come from another country or religion, TOUGH!
i am who i am and that wont change!
an excerpt from the article on the link above says
The BBC's glowing tributes to Tony Hart, who died at the weekend, somehow overlooked one of his most popular creations for Blue Peter, back in the Sixties - Paki the Elephant.
I can't imagine why.
my thoughts on it are,,,
"we are not allowed to say PAKI you idiot!
Benny.
